Mary Catherine Peabody

If you made it up to the “Peabody Cabin”, you would find an open door with Bob on the couch and Mary ready to entertain. She made a mean steak on the fire, flipped pancakes by the hundreds, beat all who dared to play her in cards, drove the boat, kicked her feet up and read the Enquirer and tucked the grandkids into her King sized bed. She provided the fondest memories for her family, friends and all that came in contact with her. She was a loving wife, a wonderful mother and simply the best ever grandmother.

Mary is survived by her sister, Bernice (Mike) Krutzig; brother, Joseph (Jan); children, Sandra (Brad) Laraque, Kent (Jeanne), Robert (Debbie), John (Martha) and Terry (Brent) Hutton. Last but not least, her ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and her many wonderful nephews and nieces.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; daughter, Lori; granddaughter, Shaune; parents, Joseph and Mary; brother, Virgil (wife Mickey); sister, Virginia (husband Hurke) and twin siblings, Gilmore and Marie.
