William "Bill" L. Murphy

William (Bill) L., Murphy, age 65, passed away peacefully at home July 20, 2023, surrounded by family. Bill is survived by his children Shannon (Matt) Dee, Max (Maggie) Murphy, Jenna (Sam) Wolfe, and Mitchell Murphy; grandchildren Collins and Cameron Dee; siblings Jackie (Mike) Peters, Pat (Rick) Arthur, Kitty (Doug) DeMorett, Tom (Yin) Murphy, and many friends and family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Joanne Murphy.

Bill was born October 14, 1957, and was proud to have grown up in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. He graduated from the University of Minnesota and went on to also earn his MBA from the University of St. Thomas. His favorite place in the world was Walker, Minnesota on Leech Lake. He spent many summers there with his family and dog, Sadie. Bill will be remembered for making people laugh, his love for a good card game, and his unwavering faith.
