William John McCabe III (95)

Bill died April 20, on what would have been his 72nd wedding anniversary, to joyfully join wife Ellen, son Rick, daughter Becky, and sister Barb, who predeceased him.  Bill lived a full life, and died peacefully, surrounded by loving family.

He is survived by children Bill (Deb), Gina Gustavson, Gil (Terry), Steve (Nancy), Martha Schermer (Gene), daughter-in-law Martha, son-in-law Bayron Calderon, Italian daughter Fiammetta, 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, brother Tom (Alice) of Duluth, sweetheart Mary Anne Christensen, and many nieces and nephews.

Bill loved time with family and friends, gardening, bridge club, the Minnesota Orchestra, his winters in Sun City West, and summer days at the cabin.  He will be dearly missed.

Services will be held Saturday, May 12 at 11 a.m. at Westminster Church, 1200 Marquette Ave., Minneapolis with lunch following.  Memorials referred to Westminster Church or Camp Ajawah.
