William D. MacMillan

William D. MacMillan, "Bill"  age 73 of St. Louis Park, passed away at home June 5, 2022

Preceded in death by daughter Amy MacMillan: Mother and father Mary and Howard MacMillan, Sister Debby Lamb, Dogs Banjo, Kirby, & Buddy.  Survived by  Wife Glenda; Daughters Heather (Matt), & Molly; grandsons Nick “Buck”, Max “Ace”, & Will “Chance”;  Sister Peggy MacMillan (Mike); Nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, many friends and his dog Lightning.  Bill spent his entire life in St. Louis Park.  He was a graduate of St Louis Park High School and the University of Minnesota. He served as a St. Louis Park Fire Dept. Commissioner, active with Discover SLP, Sunrise Rotary, TwinWest Chamber of Commerce and the American Legion.  He was employed for many years with Fred G. Anderson Co. in St. Louis Park.  He belonged to the Epicurean Club, local investment club, Business Boosters and the "Moron's Table".  He taught firearm safety for the MN DNR.   Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday, June 10 at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, 2914 W. 44th St., Mpls., with a Celebration of Life, 1-4 PM Friday at the Park Tavern, 3401 Louisiana Ave S, St Louis Park, MN 55426.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Heartland Foundation or the Salvation Army.
