William "Bill" John Burns
William J. “Bill” Burns, 80, of Maple Grove, passed away from Lewy Body Dementia on Sunday, July 12, 2020.
He attended Ascension Grade School and graduated from DeLaSalle High School in 1957, and later worked for Cargill for 40+ years, retiring in 1998.
Bill was an avid golfer, an active member of the MN Golf Assoc., and belonged to Burl Oaks for many years. He was an all-around MN sports enthusiast.
Bill was a loving husband, dad, grandpa and great grandpa.
Bill was preceded in death by parents, John and Lauretta.
He is survived by loving wife of 56 years, Mary Kate; daughters, Susan (Joe Fischer) Daudelin and Katie (Andy McMahon) Burns; grandchildren, Travis (Tory), Kyle, Aidan and James; great grandchildren, Teagan and Tommy; brother, Robert J. Burns.
