Wendy Marie Van Blaricom

Wendy Van Blaricom age 64 of Rogers, Minnesota, passed away on September 28th, 2024 at J.A Wedum Residential Hospice in the presence of her family. She was born August 24th, 1960, in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. 

She is preceded in death by her mother Clarice Dischinger, and siblings, Dennis R. Dwyer, Daniel R. Dwyer, and Teresa L. Walch.

Wendy is survived by her husband, Lawrence G. Van Blaricom, her children, Jessica L. Van Blaricom and Lucas G. Van Blaricom, and brother David R. Spragg, multiple sisters-in-law and brothers-in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wendy was a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend. She was the kind of person who was considerate of the people she cared about and went out her way to help them. She will be remembered fondly by family and friends.

Along with a 40 year marriage, Wendy lived a life full of love and warmth. She found comfort in growing old with her husband and building beautiful memories of their golden years. She might not be able to use the phone as she once could at her work, but she will always be her husband’s preferred one.

She was the cornerstone in the lives of her family, whether it was going to sports games, first days of school, golfing, crafting, or just spending the day with her. When her children joked about eating at Wendy’s everyday, it always made her smile. Wendy enjoyed just being in the presence of her loved ones and said her children made her braver. Her voice will be missed because it was such a fixture in the lives of her family and friends. 

She held multiple life long friendships, whether it was long distance or a few miles away. She always lent an ear and advice to friends. She would offer a quick joke and was always genuine with her friends.

Wendy was an integral part in many lives, she will be dearly missed. One of the things she would love is for us to fondly remember her.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 19 at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave N, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
