Virginia Seeman
July 9, 1951 - August 27, 2024
Virginia Mary Seeman, aged 73, passed away on August 27th. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anne E. O’Donnell Seeman and Kenneth F. Seeman, and her sisters Carole (Kurt) Beger and Maureen (Rick) Reid. She is survived by her sisters Joanne (John) Haurykiewicz and Rose (Tim) Kane and her cousin Marie (Stewart) McAdams. Additionally, she is survived by seven nieces (Cindy, Diane, Janet, Tara, Julie, Kelly, and Megan) and three nephews (Michael, John, and Tim).
Virginia was the youngest in a family of five sisters who called her “Virg.” Many of her friends knew her as “Ginny,” and all appreciated her sense of humor and adventure. During her life, she worked as an executive assistant and was a certified Notary Public. She volunteered with organizations such as the Italian Street Painting Festival in San Rafael, California. Ginny lived in numerous locations--from New York to Hawaii to California to Minnesota--and she was known for her creativity, as seen in her eclectic jewelry creations, her collection of Department 56 holiday villages, and her affinity for fashion and art. She loved her dogs Erté, Marcel, and Aiden; and her kind, approachable character ensured that she made friends easily wherever she went.
