Virginia “Ginny” Jacobson
age 83, passed away peacefully on August 24th 2020 at Episcopal Church Home in St. Paul MN.
Ginny was preceded in death by parents Grant and Virginia Christenson, brothers Bud and Robert, and sister Judy.
She is survived by children Robert (Bart Cannon) Jacobson and Christina (Steve) Burk, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Ginny was born on November 7th 1936 in Minneapolis. She was a 1954 graduate of Washburn high school and a graduate of the University of Minnesota where she received a degree in elementary education.
Ginny was a lifelong member of Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church where she met some of her dearest friends.
An interment service will take place at Acacia Park Cemetery on Saturday, September 5th at 11:00.
Due to COVID-19, a larger gathering to celebrate Ginny’s life will be held at a future date.
Memorials preferred to the Dignity Center at Hennepin Church, the Episcopal Homes Foundation, or donor’s choice.
