Virginia "Ginger" Evelyn Gooley

After a long and full life, our Mom has gone to her final resting place. The quote that comes to mind is "Well done good and faithful servant". Mom served all of us and taught us with love and dedication. Mom's life was a gift to all who were lucky enough to know and to love her. We will miss her always.

Preceded in death by husband, Michael Jerome; parents, Frederick and Kathryn Gibbs; brothers, Michael and Freddie; sisters, Mary Finn, Beatrice, and Margaret Claire.

Survived by children, Fred, Anne Hady (Howard), Michael (Melanie), Elizabeth Lang (Gary), Tom (Carol), John (Shelly), Jerry (Rita), Maryanne, Richard (Valerie), Kathryn Milliren (Jay); 18 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Anne Gibbs; many relatives and friends.

Virginia was a 1946 graduate of St. Anthony High School. She was married to Mike in 1950 and they raised 10 children. She then went back to North Hennepin Community College and received a RN degree. She was a nurse at North Memorial Hospital for 11 years. Definitely one of the "Greatest Generation". She was a devout member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Robbinsdale.
