Velma Doll
Velma Doll passed away September 26, 2021, at age 89. Born and raised in Kiester, MN, a small farming town along the Iowa border. After graduating from Kiester HS, Velma attended secretarial school in Mankato before moving to Minneapolis. She worked her entire career as a professional secretary at General Mills. She lived in the City of Medicine Lake for 57 years and recently in Coon Rapids, MN. Velma was a wonderful mom, grandmother, friend and homemaker. She loved spending time with family, especially traveling with them on many adventures.
Preceded in death by her parents, Albert and May Mutschler; husband, Ronald Doll; daughter, Rhonda Doll and brothers, Dale (Priscilla), Dean (Marge) and Virgil (Pat) Mutschler.
Survived by daughter, Susan Doll (Robert Anderson); son-in-law, Jim Barkovic; her beloved grandchildren, Abigail and Jennifer Anderson and Emily Barkovic.
Visitation 5-7 pm Wednesday, Oct. 6 at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37 th Ave. N. Velma’s Memorial Service will be held in November with details to follow.
Memorials may be directed to Spirit of Hope UMC, Golden Valley or the Alzheimer's Assn.
