Valentina Zychkova

Valentina (Ali) Zychkova, a ge 22 of Brooklyn Park, passed away peacefully on October 6th, 2017 and went to be with Jesus.  Ali fought a courageous 9 month battle with cancer before finally being overwhelmed by this ravaging disease.

She was born in St Petersburg, Russia before moving to Minneapolis at the age of 9.  She was a 2014 graduate of Edina High School and was currently a student at the University of Minnesota.  Ali was a sweet, kind and generous soul who always put others before herself and truly was one of the sweetest people you could ever meet.  The mental toughness and courage she displayed during this 9 month ordeal was truly amazing.  She loved spending time with her family and boyfriend Danny.  She aspired to be a nurse so she could help people.  Her heart was solid gold.  Our Angel Ali will be in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her loving mother Olga Bortolussi and father Jim Bortolussi, her grandmother Valentina Petrovskaia, her loving boyfriend Danny Dyakulich, aunts and uncles Dan and Patti Bane, Larry and Maureen Bortolussi, Nancy Bortolussi, Steve Bortolussi, cousins Nickie Vollmer, Joe Bane, Ashley Bane, Matt Bane, Danny and Ryan Bortloussi, Kelly Bortolussi, Partick Bortolussi, Vincent Bortolussi and grandfather Geno Bortolussi.  She was preceded in death by her uncle Stansilav Petrovskii, her grandfather Boris Petrovskii and her grandmother Eileen Bortolussi.

Visitation will be from 9:30-11 AM Wednesday, October 11,  followed by a funeral service from  11:00 AM-12:00 PM, both at River Valley Church, 9675 W. 76th St., Eden Prairie, MN
