New Hope,
Thomas “Tom” P. Weiss, age 71 of Golden Valley.
Survived by his loving wife, Diana of 38 years; daughter, Hannah (Matt) Bauman; grandchildren, Summit and Vera; sister, Carol (Pat) McDonald; brothers, Larry (Sharon), Ken (Sherry) and Don (Cathy) Weiss; sister-in-law, Barb Rogers; brothers-in-law, Greg (Joyce) and Jim Hardin; many nieces and nephews, countless friends and co-workers.
We could talk of the many things Tom did, but what is most important is how he made people feel. He genuinely cared about others and loved building relationships with everyone he met. Tom and Diana met in 1972 and spent their time building a loving family, going on adventures and filling their days with love and laughter. He cherished the time he had with his family and was particularly proud of his daughter, Hannah, and his sweet grand babies, Summit and Vera. Tom was lucky to have many family and friends surrounding him in life. He was always quick to share happy memories and make others laugh. We will miss our Tom dearly and know that he is with us always. We will be comforted knowing that he is in the loving arms of God and we will all be reunited one day in Christ.
Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, October 10th, 11am at St. Joseph Parish Center, 36 th Ave. N. and Boone Ave. N., New Hope, with a public visitation one hour prior to the 11am Mass at the church.
