Thomas Patrick Gangelhoff, age 51, of Cokato, MN passed away on January 15, 2021.
Tom was born on September 9, 1969, in Minneapolis, MN. He is survived by mother, Donna; siblings, Diane (Dennis) Derdoski, Mark, John (Joyce), Judy (Don) Barry, Matthew (Debbie), Nancy, David (Leslie Russell), Steven, Cathy (Brian) Schmid, Sandy, and Chris; and many nieces, nephews, and their families. He was the beloved youngest child in a family that called him “a good kid” throughout his adult life.
Tom is preceded in death by his father, John; and brother, Jerry.
Tom had a successful career as a Controls Engineer with Forward Technology. From his earliest years, he was deeply curious to discover how things work, a trait he shared with his father. Tom’s greatest happiness came from helping others. He received daily calls for guidance and help from family and friends and he kept his car trunk filled with tools so he would always be ready for a project. He was funny, gentle, and kind. We were blessed to have Tom’s goodness and generosity in our lives. He made the world a better place and he will be grievously missed.
