Thomas Mark Alberts

Thomas passed away at home on October 17, 2015, surrounded by his loving family, after fighting metachromatic leukodystrophy (MLD) since the age of two. Survived by parents, Trevis and Laura; sister and brother, Emily and Maxwell; grandparents, Bruce and Jean Hammer, Zane and Judy Juncker; great-grandparents, Ingrid Heilskov, Dorothy Juncker, Harlan Hammer, Sandford and Doris Sandbakken; aunts and uncles, Tracy and Tim King, Tammy Juncker, Matt and Vanessa Juncker; cousins, Abigayle, AnnMarie and Avery King, Zoe, Jace and Lucas Juncker. Preceded in death by great-grandparents, Ove Heilskov, Howard Juncker and Doris Hammer. The Alberts family thanks the staff at Children's Hospital and Park Nicollet Clinic and all the other medical professionals who have provided loving and devoted care of Thomas through his journey with MLD. His beautiful smile and sweet personality will be greatly missed. The family requests memorials be directed to mldfoundation.org.
