Sylvia C. Horbal

In her 100th year of life, Sylvia C. Horbal, beloved wife, mother and grandmother went March 5, 2017 to be with her Lord and her family in heaven.

Born November 3, 1917 in Osseo, Minn. to Louis and Laura (Hughes) Potvin.  In 1940 she married Gus Horbal and together they lived in Robbindsale for 74 years.  For the past three years they have resided at the Waterford Assisted Living in Brooklyn Park.

She is survived by her husband, Gus, of 76 years; children, Joyce Schnell of Hamel, Russell (Sandra) of Crystal, Raymond (Linda) of Rogers, Karen (Donald) Langford, Amboy and Rebecca (Rick) Burton of Brooklyn Park; 17 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by children, Robert and Joanne; her parents; sisters, Gladys, Mildred and Evelyn; brother, Vernon; granddaughters, Nancy Horbal and Julie Euerle, and son-in-law, Mark Schnell, Jr.
