Susan “Sue” E. Mann

age 70, St. Michael, Minnesota, died peacefully on April 15, 2020 at Three Links Care Center in Northfield, Minnesota. She was born on August 7, 1949, in Superior, Wisconsin, to Clayton and Elsie (Joiner) Halverson.  Sue was a graduate of Superior Senior High School.  She worked for the Superior Evening Telegram before moving to the Minneapolis area where she was a bookkeeper for many years.

Sue married Irving Mann on May 13,1977 and they celebrated 42 years of marriage until his passing in February 2019.  She loved entertaining and traveling. She and Irv enjoyed living in Arizona for a number of years before returning to Minnesota to be closer to family.

Sue is survived by her children Michael Mann, Steven L. Mann, Caryl (Gordy) Willey, Jill Leroux, Steven J. (Jackie) Mann, Cathy (Rick) Williams, and Nykol (Jake) Haug. Her grandchildren Daniel (Emily) Willey,  Aaron Willey, Jaclyn (Andrew) Voight, Gary and Matthew Hackett, Clayton, Audrey, and Evan Mann, Andrew (Jessica), Todd, and Kelsie Wenzel, Devin and MaKaila Williams, David (Raven) Clark, Braylynn Pitschka, Megan and Justine Farnsworth and 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers David (Edith) Halverson, Bruce (Roberta) Halverson and sister Jennifer (Bruce) Rohde, and  many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by Lisa and Richard Stock who became like family to her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her niece Angie Halverson.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, a celebration of Sue's life will be held at a later date. Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.

Sue's family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the entire staff at Three Links Care Center in Northfield MN for the truly wonderful care she received and to Brighton Hospice for the care and support that the entire staff gave to Sue and her family as we all move through this together.
