Steven D. Kingery

Steven D. Kingery, age 69 of Rogers. Born Dec 4, 1953, passed away Jan 4, 2023.

Preceded in death by mother, Barbara; father and mother-in-law, Rudolph and Marie Turek;  brothers-in-law, Bob Turek, Francis Turek and Ted O’Halloran.

Survived by wife, Carrie Kingery; God daughter, Kylee Smith; sisters-in-law, Mary Jo O’Halloran, Barb Miller (Randy), Linda Erickson (Todd), Rosie Turek and Linda Anderson; brothers-in-law, Jim Turek (Sue), Dan Turek (Linda); many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; great great nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

Steve was born in Ohio and graduated from high school in Cincinnati. He and Carrie met when the separate companies they each worked for were acquired by Wagner Spray Tech. (Thank you Wagner Spray Tech). After the first date, Carrie knew she would marry Steve, however, it took 10 years (who’s counting) and they were married on July 1, 2005. Steve retired in Jan 2007 from Wagner Spray Tech where he worked as an engineering technician. He enjoyed watching and attending car races, listening to music, astronomy, bird watching and was an avid cycler. He and Carrie traveled and he loved spending time with family and friends, especially at Linda’s cabin.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan 21st at 12 noon at Gearty-Delmore Chapel of Plymouth, 15800 37th Ave. N. with visitation beginning at 11 AM. A reception will follow the service. Memorials preferred to the Alzheimer’s Assn.
