Stanley Gaffney

Formerly of St Louis Park.

Survived by wife of 32 years, Nancy (Kolb) Gaffney; daughter, Diane Gaffney (Perham); son, Jeff Gaffney (Excelsior); step-children, Tami Spicer and Shane Sams; sisters, Karen Angelson, Katherine Nichols, Joy Krogstad; brother, Lowell "Butch" Gaffney; grandchildren, Bridie, Grace, Tabor, Ty and Teegan Gaffney; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Emma.

Preceded in death by parents, Ralph and Maureen Gaffney; Jeanette Piker (mother to Diane and Jeff); and step-son, Wade Sams.

Stan was born June 9th, 1942 in North Redwood, MN to Ralph and Maureen Gaffney. After serving in the Army, he worked for Hennepin County Public Works and retired as shop foreman after 32 years. After retirement in 2003, Stan and Nancy moved to Perham. Stan loved to hunt and fish and was a very gifted mechanic.

Interment Ft Snelling National Cemetery.
