Shirley "Pat" (Hammond) Campbell

A loving woman of faith with a smile that welcomed & loved all, died 4/30, at age 96, surrounded in love.

Pat was born in St. Cloud and graduated from St. Cloud Teacher’s College.  She met her beloved Bill at the USO & they shared 69 years of beautiful marriage together.  After teaching in the Wayzata Schools, Pat & Bill retired to homes in Wisconsin and Arizona.

Pat was an active member of her churches.  She served as a Deacon, a Stephen’s Minister and in various choirs.  Pat delighted in her roles as Wife, Mom, Mother-in-law, Grandma, Granny, Nana, Aunt & friend.

She will be remembered by her joyful, bright & calm spirit.  She is an inspiration for all who knew her. Even through her most difficult times, she displayed a Jesus-like character. She loved abundantly without hesitation.

Predeceased by her husband Bill & son Rich Campbell. She is survived by her daughter, Margie Campbell Charlebois (Jim) and daughter-in-law, Dee Dee Campbell Zappa (Steve); Grandchildren Tanya Campbell, Terra Zdenek, Jason Campbell, Jessica Campbell, Lisa Bottolene, and J.P. (Audra) Charlebois and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday, May 8 at Kingdom Life Church.  Wake at 11:00 & Homegoing Service at noon. It will be live-streamed and recorded on the YouTube channel, “KLC Minneapolis.”   Thank you to N. Memorial Hospice for their beautiful, loving kindness.
