Sherry P. Shaw
Sherry Patricia Shaw died on April 6, 2021 in Robbinsdale, MN at the age of 85. Born on September 30,1935 she was the daughter of the late Robert and Thelma O'Neil. Sherry was born and grew up in Robbinsdale, MN and graduated from Robbinsdale High School. She met her future husband Tom Shaw at Robbinsdale Baptist Church and they married in 1955. In 1958 they moved to Cedar Rapids, IA where their family and Tom’s business would grow and prosper for many years. Robbinsdale was always home to Sherry and in 2002, she returned to make her home at Lee Square.
Sherry’s entire life centered around her children and grandchildren, all of whom she was extremely proud! While health issues hindered her ability to do all the things she had always planned to do with her grandchildren later in life, her love, enthusiasm and support for every aspect of their lives was unquestionable.
Sherry is survived by her daughter Denise Enright and husband Craig of Stamford, CT, son Robert of Cedar Rapids, IA, son Neil and wife Jennifer of Boulder, CO, her six grandchildren Charlie (wife Abbey), Sam, McKenna, Megan (husband Frank), Max and Olivia, brothers Michael (wife Karen) and Patrick (wife Winnie), sister-in-law Janet Porten, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A memorial service will be held at Gearty Delmore Funeral Chapel in Robbinsdale on Saturday, May 15, 2021 with visitation starting at 10:00 am followed by a service at 11:00am. A private burial will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Crystal, MN.
