Sherry L. Ackerman

Preceded in death by beloved husband, Frank; parents, Valborg and Marvin Slade.

Survived by her loving daughter, Cindy; cousin, Barbara Jones of Springfield, MO; relatives and friends.

Sherry graduated from Minnehaha Academy in 1952.  Prior to her marriage to Frank, she worked in the diabetic research lab at the University of Minnesota.  She later worked for Dayton’s as a microfilmer until her retirement.  She found her serenity in the Brainerd Lakes Area where she could fish and bird watch.  She was an avid (and opinionated) sports fan.  Her cheery smile and sassy wit brightened the day of all she encountered.  She will be greatly missed.
