Shauna Dirlam

Shauna Dirlam, age 68, passed away peacefully at home on November 9, 2024. Shauna is survived by her children, Carly (Paul Morris) Dirlam, Philip (Sarah) Dirlam; Grandchildren Russell and Ada Morris, Tristan Dirlam; siblings Lynda Jodsaas and Earl (Guri Kirkeng) Windahl; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Ken; parents Duane and Georgie Windahl.


Shauna was born May 29, 1956, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Duane and Georgie Windahl. She grew up in Edina, MN, and graduated from Edina High School. She attended the University of Minnesota and graduated with a degree in Social Work. On September 8, 1979, she married Ken Dirlam.


Shauna and Ken lived and raised their children in New Ulm, MN, where Shauna managed their home and dedicated herself to her family. She volunteered her time at her childrens' school and with the Brown County Humane Society. Following Ken's passing, Shauna moved to Plymouth, MN, where she made great friends and became a grandmother.


Shauna was a kind and gentle soul who loved being a mother and grandmother. She enjoyed the company of her pets spending time at the lake up north, and being in nature.


The family wishes to thank all those who cared for Shauna, including her doctors, caregivers, and Park Nicollet Hospice.


Celebration of Life to be held at 11:00 am on Saturday April 5, 2025 at Hamel Community Center. Private interment at a later date. All are welcome, please let us know if you plan to join us: RSVP Here
