A dearly beloved sister, aunt, and friend, Sharon Limmer peacefully entered into Heaven on January 28, 2025 at the age of 61. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Norbert and Edelle Limmer and her infant nephew Tony Cunningham. 

She is survived by her siblings Warren (Lori) Limmer, Bryan Limmer, Cheryl Cunningham, and Carla (Brett) Mayer; nieces and nephews Kalli, Jordan (Laura), Nathan (Brooke) Limmer, and Nicole, Ryan, and Mattie Cunningham. 

Sharon was born in Omaha, NE in 1963 and moved with family in 1965 to Crystal, MN. After graduating from Armstrong Senior High School in 1981, she earned a Cosmetology license from Vera Slater Beauty School in Crystal. After her studies she moved to Dallas to work a manicurist. She later returned to Mpls to study Interior Design, but ultimately earning a BA degree in Criminal Justice at Brown College.

Despite her long challenges with MS, Sharon never complained and will always be remembered as a gentle, kind sister and friend. Enjoying a great sense of humor and interest in others, she could brighten a room with her character and presence. Although she will be greatly missed, we know her absence from us is temporary. She truly lived out her favorite Bible verse: “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ, God forgave you” (Eph. 4:32) 

On Friday, February 7, 2025, a reviewal will be held 11:00am-1:00pm with a funeral service following from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Gearty-Delmore Chapel of Plymouth, 15800 37th Ave. N, Plymouth, MN. Internment follows at Dawn Valley Cemetery, Bloomington, MN.
