Sean Patrik Saunders

Sean Patrik Saunders died on September 21, 2022. Everyone will remember his stunning smile, quick sense of humor and charismatic leadership. Born in Canoga Park, CA, Sean spent the first 28 years of his life enjoying the outdoors. A gifted soccer player and skier, he also loved Zuma, Catalina, Yosemite and Prairie Creek Redwoods, and his family and many friends. He mastered the art of woodworking and spent his early career building custom furniture. Some of his favorite projects were for Cher and Prince, and helping to build Rose Parade floats. After marrying and becoming a father, Sean moved his family out of LA to northern AZ, Denver, CO and Minnetonka, MN, where they settled. Sean’s sons were the light of his life and he loved playing soccer, basketball and baseball with them, and coaching their teams. He also enjoyed exploring MN with his family, taking them camping, fishing, canoeing and hiking. A talented operations manager who gave 110% for every project, Sean loved his coworkers and “brothers in arms” at Siewert Cabinet and considered them family.

Sean is survived by Sons, Matt & Michael; Father, Brent; Stepmom, Pam; Aunt, Marilyn; Sisters-in-law, Anita, Pam & Ariel;  Brothers-in-law, Tom & Richard; Nieces, Kaitlyn, Sara, Natasha, Jessika & Chelsea; Nephews, Branden, Tim, Brad & Everett; Former-wife, Cindy; Former-mother-in-law Shirley.

He’s preceded in death by Mom, Ingrid; Brother, Kevin; Uncle, Stan; Grandparents, Bud, Vivian, Rosemary & Harold; Former-father-in-law Jerry.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 am, with visitation one hour before, at the Church of St. Therese, 18323 Minnetonka Blvd, Deephaven, MN, on Wednesday, 9/28/2022.
