Scott "Rocket" Rosstedt
age 72 of Plymouth, MN passed away on December 11, 2018. Scott was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Janet (Buwolda); children, Derek (Ashley) Rosstedt, Jill (Alex) Kugel; 7 grandchildren; brother, Barry (Kathy) Rosstedt; other relatives and friends. Scott spent 45+ years in the automotive industry working for the Lupient, Iten and Luther families. His decades in the industry generated many friends and relationships spanning generations. Scott enjoyed family vacations, golfing, boating, and memorable snowmobile and football trips. LBT
A celebration of Rocket’s life will be held at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37 th Ave. N. on Monday, December 17 with visitation from 4:00-8:00 pm. Private family interment with honors at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive well-preserved body, but rather to skid sideways, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, screaming “WOOHOO, WHAT A RIDE!” NBFLM, RTP, shoot low. Memorials will be used for a memorial golf bench in Rocket's name and donated to veteran's organizations in his memory.
