Scot Guidinger Zeman

Scot passed away peacefully on Jan. 26, 2025, at the age of 59, surrounded by his loving family and friends. 

Scot is survived by his foster parents of 57 years, David and Barbara Zeman, along with siblings, Nancy (Jeff) Beyer, Mark (Carrie) Zeman, John (Tracey) Zeman, Chris (Lori) Zeman, Katie (Berik) Damberg; 20 nieces and nephews; 12 great-nieces and nephews. 

Scot was best known for his eagerness to welcome visitors with a hearty handshake, assembling his puzzles and for expressing numerous "thank you's" for every gift he received. Scot brought so much joy and blessings to our family and will be greatly missed. 

Scot was a charter member of Chrestomathy Inc, a specialized adult day program, and, at the age of 23, joined Rem Minnesota, a provider of 24/7 community supportive living services for people with disabilities. 

Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Mon., Feb. 3, 2025, with visitation one hour prior, at the Parish Community of St. Joseph, 8701 36th Ave. N, New Hope, MN 55427. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Chrestomathy Inc. of Eden Prairie or Rem Minnesota in Brooklyn Center.
