Sandra Bartlett

Sandra G Bartlett, affectionately known as "Grandma B," passed away peacefully on August 15, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 10, 1938, in Faribault, Minnesota, Sandy led a life filled with warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends. 

Sandy was the beloved wife of Jerry Bartlett, with whom she shared a marriage for 62 years. Together, they raised three children who were the center of her world: Tim Bartlett (Michelle), Dan Bartlett (Mary), and Michele Welsh (Scott). Her legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren, Mikayla Anderson (Mitch), Maddi Bartlett, Blake Welsh (Jordan), Brooke Welsh, Jack Bartlett, and Nick Bartlett, and her precious great-granddaughter, Luella. 

Sandy graduated from Saint Catherine University, where she earned her nursing degree. Her career reflected her caring nature and dedication to others. Known for her homemade meals, vibrant personality, and love of decorating, Sandy made every moment special, whether preparing a dish, hosting family gatherings, or filling her home with warmth and color. 

Sandy's hobbies reflected her love for life and family. She had a passion for cards, puzzles, reading, and all things social. Her love for travel also took her on many adventures with family and friends. 

As the matriarch of the Bartlett family, Sandy was the heart of her home, bringing everyone together with her radiant spirit. She had a deep faith and was a devoted member of her church. Her love, kindness, and energy touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Sandy will forever be in our hearts and remembered by all who were fortunate to be part of the beautiful life she lived.

 A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel in Plymouth, MN. Visitation will also be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in New Hope, Minnesota. The funeral Mass will start at 11:00 AM, followed by a luncheon.
