Samuel "Sam" Thomas Schuneman

Samuel “Sam” T. Schuneman, age 24, formerly of Maple Grove, passed away July 24 as the result of an automobile accident. Sam is survived by loving parents Tom and Yvonne Schuneman; siblings  Maggie, Luke, Beth (Lambert), and brother-in-law Dylan, grandmother Rosemary Leger and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Sam was a proud business graduate of the University of St. Thomas in 2019 and had started his career working in sales in Phoenix, Arizona.

Sam was a gift to all that knew him. His signature smile and perpetual positivity were contagious. Sam had an incredible ability to light up a room and make everyone feel appreciated. His adventurous spirits led him to a wide variety of hobbies and interests such as sports, lakes, concerts, traveling, hiking, volunteering and much more. Through these activities Sam amassed a large group of friends, whom he loved dearly. Above all, Sam was grounded in tremendous faith and understood the importance of having God at the center of his life. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Saturday, July 31 at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, 155 Cty. Rd. 24, Medina. Visitation Friday, July 30, 4-8 PM at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37 th Ave N. @ Vicksburg Lane and Saturday at Church one hour before Mass.
