Ronald Joseph Wallerius
Ronald Wallerius, 86 of Golden Valley passed away on September 2, 2020 after a brief illness. Born March 5, 1934 in Northeast Minneapolis, MN where he met his high school sweetheart Dolly at age 16. Ronald worked in the family wholesale business until he retired, then continued to enjoy goose hunting, Vikings football and caring for his beloved wife.
Preceded in death by parents Vincent and Dolores Wallerius; loving wife of 57 years, Dolly; sister, Therese and grandson, Cort.
Survived by children, Paul (Karen) of Castle Rock, CO, Tom, Jerry (Mary Beth) and Maria all of Plymouth, and Brian of St. Louis Park; 7 grandchildren, Danielle (Michael Cimmarrusti), Ryan, Mark, Jonathan, Calllie, Matthew and Cooper; 1 great-grandchild, Charlize.
Mass of the Christian Burial, Friday September 18 at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Margaret Mary, 2323 Zenith Avenue N, Golden Valley. Visitation Friday 1 hour prior to Mass at church only. Private interment at Gethsemane Cemetery.
Memorials preferred to Struthers Parkinson’s Center.
