Ronald E. Smith, 83, of Crystal, passed away Wed., March 28, 2018.

An outdoorsman, Ron enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family (especially the grandkids) and his 3M buddies.

He was preceded in death by parents, Hildegard and Earl; sister, Ethel; son-in-law, John Poppen.

Ron is survived by loving wife of 42 years, Sandra; children, Cindy Poppen, Tom (Kim), Tim, Ted (Marie), Terry (Becky) and Paul Johnson(Beth); 17 grandchildren, Sean (Jordan), Nick, Eric (Amy), Lisa, Neal, Nicole, Samantha, Adam (Demetra), Hannah, Andrew, Shane, Heather, Matt, Anthony (Sam), Kristin, Preston and Natalie; 11 great grandchildren, Peyton, Graham, Merrick, Adam Jr., Matthew, Kira, Shane, Franklin, Aria, Kira and Nick; many other relatives and friends.

Visitation one hour prior to Mass AT CHURCH. Private interment.
