Ron passed in peace on November 23, 2021 at his home. Survived by loving wife Alva, loving father of Rhonda (Keith) Converse and Rochelle (Kyle) Hemenway. Proud grandpa of Josh (Jenny), Jake (Dani), Jarett (Rese), Jessie (Herb), and Jeremy (Tonya). Great-grandpa to Nora, Ryker, Max, Harper, Griffin, Hadley and Finnley. Further survived by brothers Dennis and Jim, many nieces and nephews and extended family. Ron was a loving family man and a friend to all. Ron was a graduate of Dunwoody and worked as a Tool and Die Maker for Honeywell for 39 years. Overachiever that he was, he started his second career at MGS and worked there for another 10 years. He will be remembered fondly by family and friends for his quick wit, constant teasing and his willingness to always lend a hand or tool. He loved debating, hunting, putzing outside, and there was no job too big or too small to handle – he always had an idea! There will be a funeral service held Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle located at 20000 County Road 10, Corcoran, MN. A visitation before the service will begin at 9:00. The family will be there to welcome friends and relatives. A celebration lunch will be served immediately following the church service. Please come and share your special memories of Ron with his family. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM at Camp Ripley (MN State Veteran’s Cemetery), 15550 MN 115, Little Falls, MN.
