Ronald R. Denny

Ronald R. Denny age 74, of Brooklyn Park, passed away peacefully at home on June 3, 2021.

Ron was a talented computer architect who worked at Control Data and later at General Dynamics.  He retired from General Dynamics and joined the team at Data Vortex Technologies as Chief Engineer. His work in the computer and intelligence field was vital to our nation’s security and he held many patents within the industry. Ron enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, family, and friends. His family is blessed to have many memories filled with laughter, games and family vacations. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by wife of 54 years, Nancy; son, Ron (Amanda) and daughter, Lori (Justin ) Hansen and six grandchildren, Taylor, Jayce, Summer, Delaney, Olivia and Allison. Sisters, Dawn Louise, Nancy (Chuck), and Diana Karen and brother, Richard ; sister-in-law, Sue Rife; brother-in-law, Jim Oliver (Amy), and many other beloved relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
