Roger H. Van Risseghem

Roger H. Van Risseghem, age 94 of Crystal passed away peacefully in his home on June 30, 2023 surrounded by his family.

Roger was born in Onamia, MN on May 22, 1929. He proudly served his country in the Army Airborne from 1950-1952. Roger met the love of his life, Arlene Kasper and married on September 22, 1954. Roger was a dedicated employee of Ford Motor Company for 47 years. He was a faithful member of St. Raphael’s Church in Crystal and a 65 year member of the Knights of Columbus, Crystal Council #3656 & Nicollet Assembly 4th Degree.

Roger is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Van Risseghem, sister Ilene Swiderski, brother Arthur Van Risseghem, and grandson Daniel Green.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Arlene; children Barbara (Joe) Riera, LuAnn (Dale LaRoche) Van Risseghem, Duane (Rosy) Van Risseghem, Julie (Mark) Green, and Joel (Sherry) Van Risseghem; siblings Mary Bleecher, Evelyn (Bill) Dybvik, sister-in-law Charlotte Van Risseghem; many adoring grandchildren, great grandchildren and dear friends.

Visitation Thursday, July 6 5-8 PM with KC rosary 6:30 PM and sharing memories at 7:30 PM at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave N.

Funeral Friday, July 7 with 10 AM reviewal and Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM at the Church of St. Raphael, 7301 Bass Lake Rd, Crystal.  Entombment Gethsemane Mausoleum.
