Robert Joseph Schoenecker

Robert  J. (Bob) Schoenecker, age 87, of Edina, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home November 30, 2021.

Bob attended Dunwoody Trade School for carpentry, which became his life’s work.

He is survived by wife Marianne; sons Patrick (Anne) & Paul (Liz) Schoenecker; daughter Jean (Michael) Thompson; grandchildren Abigail, Molly (Jake), Michael, James, Claire, Rachel, Kristin, Sonja, and Gretchen; brothers, Virgil, Earl (Mary), Joseph (Rose); sisters Rosemary Lambrecht, LaDonna Peller; sister-in-law Rose and brother-in-law Art Terwey.

Bob was preceded in death by daughter Judy, parents Joseph & Celia; brothers Ervin (Mary), Leander (Clarissa), Ralph (Rita) and Richard; sister Delores (Howard) Gosewisch; sister-in-law Marie and brothers-in-law Joseph Lambrecht and David Peller.

Bob enjoyed fishing for sunnies, sheephead, polka music and dancing.  He especially enjoyed his kids and grandkids.

Mass of Christian Burial 3:00 PM Friday, December 3, at the Church of the Holy Family, 5900 West Lake Street, St. Louis Park.

Visitation Thursday, December 2, 5:00-7:00 PM at Gearty-Delmore Park Chapel, 3960 Wooddale Ave South, St. Louis Park.

Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights.
