Robert Bruce MacKinnon (88) of Hopkins, MN. Born March 7, 1929 in St. Paul, MN. Bob went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 26, 2018. After a short battle with cancer, he died at home with his family around him.
Bob was an educator and elementary school principal in Hopkins, and later worked for Billy Graham World Wide Pictures. He was passionate about sharing “that Jesus is the only one who can take away and forgive our sins.” He was also an avid golfer.
Bob is survived by beloved wife, Shirlie; children: Linda MacKinnon; Dan (Judy) MacKinnon; Dave (Linda) MacKinnon; Sandi (Paul) Thompson; ten grandchildren; and ten (and counting) great-grandchildren.
Funeral service at Grace Church, Eden Prairie, MN (door #2), on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 2pm, with visitation 1 hour prior.
Private interment at Eden Prairie Cemetery.
