Rita R. Kunkel

Rita R. Kunkel, age 84 of Plymouth passed away Saturday, May 25 ^th , 2019.  Rita loved to be surrounded by family and friends. She lived life to its fullest.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Kathy Gnitka and Joan Schaust; and sister-in-law, Janet (Bauman) Hance.  Rita is survived by her husband of 61 years, Arnold; children, LaRae (Brian) Samuelson, Kevin (Nancy) Kunkel, Curt (Brenda) Kunkel, Larry Kunkel, Kim (Tom) Eidem; 13 grandchildren, Brandon Samuelson, Angela Samuelson, Jordan Samuelson, Kyle Kunkel, James Kunkel-Dykhoff, Brooke Kunkel, Kelsey Kunkel, Mallory Kunkel, Dylan Kunkel, Quinn Eidem, Riley Kunkel, Cooper Eidem, Sawyer Eidem.  She is further survived by her siblings, Jerry (Dee) Hance, Estelle (Matt) Schaust, Ed (Erva) Hance, and Larry (Diane) Hance; and brother-in-laws, Ralph Gnitka and George Schaust.  Visitation Monday, June 3 ^rd from 5 to 8 p.m., with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37 ^th Ave. No. and 1 hour prior to Mass at church.  Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, June 4 ^th at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Mary of the Lake 105 No. Forestview Lane, Plymouth.  Interment Gethsemane Cemetery following lunch.  Memorials will be used for Mass intentions for Rita and Sharing and Caring Hands.
