Rita Theresa Daszkiewicz

Daszkiewicz, Rita T.

age 92 of Rogers, passed away on April 1, 2023, after battling breast cancer for 4 years, and never quit fighting. She had an unbelievable will to live. Rita loved spending hours in her garden. This truly was one of her favorite past times. She also loved to listen to the birds, singing each morning, and the frogs croaking each night. Rita was a devout Catholic and made sure she said a Rosary each day and prayed for those all she loved. She was an amazing wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Rita is survived by children, Greg, Sarah (Rick), Chris (Cathy), Chuck, Carmel (Mike), Joe, Tom, Cindy (Joe), Mary Jo and Peter (Christa); 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Wanda and brothers, Ernest and Ervin (Carol). She is preceded in death by husband, Joseph; parents, Magdalene and Bernard; 3 sisters and 2 brothers; son-in-law, Mike. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Church of Mary Queen of Peace 21304 Church Ave. Rogers 55374. Visitation 1 hr. prior at church and 5-8 pm Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel 15800 37th Ave. N. Plymouth. Prayer service 7 pm at funeral home.
