Richard T. Yentsch

Richard T. Yentsch, age 83, of Burnsville joined his God and family in heaven on June 7, 2022. He attended Ascension Grade School, De La Salle High School, and earned a degree from the University of St. Thomas. Richard taught high school in southern MN and his last years in Owatonna, MN. He was a teacher, coach, athletic director, and mentor. He is preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Karl Yentsch and sister, Pat Beck. Richard is survived by his cousins, Bill, Tom, and Monica Wade. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at The Church of St John the Baptist in Savage, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN.

The family would like to thank God and the nurses and staff at N.C. Little Hospice in Edina for making his last days comfortable and peaceful.

Memorials are preferred to St. John the Baptist Church.
