Richard Stetler

Dick Stetler age 80 of Crystal, passed away on May 3, 2016.  Born on July 6, 1935 in Minneapolis.  Graduate of North High Class of ’53.  Loving Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle & Friend.  Passed away peacefully on the morning of May 3rd after a 19-month battle with Pancreatic Cancer.  Preceded in death by parents and wife, Veronica.  Survived by daughter, Patty (Dave) Jirik; son, Jim (Cris) Stetler; grandchildren, Kira, Jack, Michael and Alex; sister, Ginger Swanson; and many nieces and nephews.

Life-long bowler (45 years of bowling the ABC), softball player (last game played at age 79), and dedicated Minnesota Twins fan. He was also a #1 fan of his grandchildren’s activities, avid Thrift store scavenger, lover of old time music and collector of all movies known to man.

Prayer Service 6:30 pm Monday.

Interment Gethsemane Cemetery with a pizza buffet at New Hope Bowl following. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers or take a friend to a ballgame!
