Richard Henry Hansey

age 91, of Champlin passed away on October 7, 2024. Dick was a lot of things to everyone, a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, friend and confident. He was one-of-a-kind. Dick took a lot of pride in his law enforcement career as a detective Lieutenant in the Minneapolis Police Force. 

He was also proud of his wife and the family they created together. We celebrate your reunion with Mary up in heaven! May God hold you in the Palm of His hand. Survived by children, Cindy & Jim, Terri & Chris, Bill & Renae; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brothers, Jim & Dick & wives, Margaret & Diane. Preceded in death by wife, Mary; parents, Henry & Ester; siblings, Marge & Betty; brothers-in-law, George & Swede. 

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, October 14, at 10:30 AM at the Church of Saint Vincent de Paul, 9100 93rd Avenue North Brooklyn Park, MN. Visitation one hour prior to Mass at the church. Interment Saint Vincent de Paul Cemetery with a luncheon being served in Regan Hall (at the church) afterwards.
