Richard is survived by wife, MaryLou Fox and their family: Charles (Kathryn) Fox, Nancy (Robert) Raschke, Laurie (Thomas) Nilsson, Mary (Stephen) Fox-Stroman, Jennifer Blackley and Candace (David) Lawton; 21 grandchildren, Bridget Fox, Chip Fox, Colleen Raschke, Ryan (Cheryl) Nilsson, Meghan (Nick) Lorbiecki, Brandon (Becca) Nilsson, Anne Nilsson, Erin Nilsson, Dylan Nilsson, Kelly (Michael) Hendricks, Kevin Blackley, Katie Blackley, Kyle Blackley, Kenny Blackley, Sadie (Jacob) Andreas, Davis Lawton, Maddie Lawton, Miranda Lawton, Marcie Lawton, Dempsey Lawton and Tina Lawton.

Richard was a U. S. Army Veteran of WW II.  He will be interred at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
