Richard A. "Dick" Edlund
age 94 of Plymouth passed away on November 3, 2018.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Hazel J.; sons, Stephen Edlund (Ruth Anne), David Edlund and Keith Edlund (Susanne); brother, Earl (Vivian) Edlund; sister, Jean Magnuson (James); grandchildren, Jennifer Johansen (Nikolai), Laura Edlund-Miller (Mitchell), Erik Edlund, Bryan Edlund; great granddaughter, Sigrid; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents, Hjalmer and Laura Edlund; brother, Duane Edlund (Helen).
Dick was a WW2 Army veteran, serving in North Africa and Europe. He received a BS degree from Bemidji State and MS from University of North Dakota in Education. He was a teacher, coach and administrator for 37 years in Goodridge, MN, Thief River Falls, MN and Osseo, MN.
Funeral 11 AM Thursday at St. Barnabas Lutheran Church, 15600 Old Rockford Road, Plymouth with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment Friday at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to
