Richard W. Cotter

Richard, formerly of Crystal, New Hope, Anoka and Mesa, AZ passed away in the early hours of June 15, 2017.  Dick was born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 14, 1926, and lived a full life.

Preceded in death by wives, Carol (Flanders) and Margaret (Gagnon/Lauzon) and step-son, Kenneth Nelson.

Survived by wife, Florence (LaMere/Nelson/Sodren), 10 biological children and their spouses and 14 step-children and their spouses, along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren too numerous and expensive to list.
Dick served in the Army Air Force during WWII and graduated with a BSEE degree from the University of Pittsburgh.  He moved to MN and worked as a design/production engineer with Honeywell until his retirement in 1988.

Mass of Christian burial Monday (6/19), 10 AM at the Church of St. Raphael, 7301 Bass Lake Rd., Crystal.

Private interment Ft. Snelling.

Visitation Sunday (6/18), 5-8 PM with Rosary/memory sharing 7PM at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 3888 W. Broadway and one hour before the Mass at the church.

Memorials preferred to donor’s choice.

Rosary and memory sharing at 7 PM Sunday evening. Visitation also 9 AM at Church on Monday.
