Raymond Knighton

Of Eden Prairie passed in peace surrounded by family on October 25, 2015 at age 81. Ray was born and raised in the great state of Texas and worked with Unisys (Roseville) for over thirty years. He was the youngest and last of the 13 Knighton children. A true southern gentleman, a beloved husband, father and papa who will be missed by June, his wife of 56 years; son, Daryl and wife Amy; grandson, Zach; sisters-in-law, Betty Knighton and June Greinert; brother-in-law, Jack Halverson and many nieces and nephews. Military honors and interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the (MVH) Minneapolis Veterans Home Family Council or Westwood Hills Nature Center. The family would like to thank the loving and supportive staff at the Minneapolis Veterans Home, who loved their Ray-Ray.
