RaVaunne Shetia Kendrick, age 35 of Minneapolis. Preceded in death by grandparents, Christopher Kendrick Sr. and Rita Meadows. Survived by parents, Christopher Kendrick Jr. and Dorothy Powell; siblings, Nicole, LaToi, Cymone, Joi, Joshua, Jenesis, and Rita; nieces, Shanaya, Heaven, and Amiyah; grandparents, Joel Sr. and Quindell; great-grandmother, Dorothy Bryant; other loving relatives and many friends.
As most of you may know RaVaunne Shetia Kendrick lost her life in a fatal car accident at the age of 35 years young, on Saturday January 18, 2020. For those of you who truly knew her you would know that she was full of love and life! She loved people genuinely and was very outgoing. She loved her family and with owning her own Flower Shop (Flower Power Mpls) at a point, showed her deep passion for flowers.
A strong and passionate business woman, a lover of ALL things breathing down to the soil that grows our trees! A true hippie at heart soulful & blessed w a green thumb, to not just her flowers... but to the family she loved & so dearly loved her. Blood didn't make you family to Vaunne.. it was the sound of a beating heart that many times drove her to care for many ppl other than herself. Often times leading her into the wrong hands of ppl incapable of giving her the love and care she so deserved!
At such a young age, RaVaunne took on the responsibility of helping her mother (Dorothy) raise her & her 6 younger siblings! She always took action when it was needed, w out being told she always took the initiative and took on all her siblings and mothers issues. The mark Vaunne made in this world, and impact she had on our lives, could never be measured. She could NEVER be replaced! For we've truly met an angel on earth, a woman so sweet w a heart bigger then the sea's we couldn't keep her away from! We are truly indebted w her, for our debt can never again be repaid😔💔. Today we celebrate her life of laughter, love, pain, tears of sorrow, and of joy! We love you RaVaunne more then you could ever know, and we celebrate you today, tomorrow, and every day after to keep your name and spirit alive w in us! It's see you later, never goodbye💔
