Peep was born on July 2, 1942 in Antsla, Estonia. His family immigrated to the United States when he was seven, after several years of moving place to place to avoid as much of WWII as they could. They lived for a short time in Preston, MN before moving to Minneapolis.

He graduated from Prior Lake, MN high school and went on to Mankato College.  He left college to join the Army for three years and subsequently graduated with an Art degree from the University of Minnesota.

He worked for Bajus Jones advertising company for many years, rising from an “ink and paint” painter to a director and made many televised commercials. He eventually left Bajus Jones and was self-employed until retirement at 62.

He loved spending time on Prior Lake and boating.  He and Leslie moved from Prior Lake in 2017 to Medicine Lake to be closer to their granddaughters.  He was able to spend his last days with views of the lake every day.  You will see him each spring on the first day that the ice is melted and the water sparkles like diamonds!
