Paul Robert Berndt

Paul is preceded in death by parents, Bob and Grace Berndt of Osseo; and longtime companion, Donna Wozny.

He is survived by his sister, Bonnie (Dick) Crow; brothers, Bill (Sue) Berndt, George (Kathy) Berndt; and seven nieces and nephews.

After serving in the Wadena, MN Police Dept., Paul then served for 30 years with the Maple Grove Police Department, later as Captain of his department until his retirement in 2005. He was an active Osseo Lion Club member for 14 years.

Paul will be remembered for his long and distinguished service to his community, his humor, and his strong faith in God.

Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Wed., 5/2 at the Church of St. Raphael, 7301 Bass Lake Rd., Crystal. Visitation 5-7 PM Tues. 5/1 at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave. N, and one hr. before Mass at church. Interment Rush Creek Cemetery, Maple Grove.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Parkinsons Foundation Minnesota.

Visitation one hour before Mass at Church.
