Patrick Mooney

Mooney, Patrick G., age 91.  Pat was born March 13, 1926 in New Ulm to Albert and Bertha Mooney and later moved to Chaska where he was a star athlete at Chaska High School graduating in 1944.  During this time he met his high school sweetheart, Maxine. They were married on Sept. 9, 1944.  Eventually Pat and Maxine moved to St. Louis Park where they raised their family.  He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Maxine; sons, Mike (Beth) and Steve (Kate); grandchildren, Todd, Jay, Kelly, Aaron, and Tim; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sister, Colleen (Ken) Bom; sisters-in-law, April (Norm) Waters and Chris Smith; other relatives and friends.  He was a longtime employee of Hedberg and Sons and North Star Concrete and an avid golfer.  Memorials preferred to the American Heart Association.

Visitation 1/2 hour before the service at the funeral home. Private interment Ft. Snelling.
