Patricia "Patty" Kathryn O`Brien

Patty was born in Duluth, MN, January 1, 1959, and passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016 in Minneapolis.

Preceded in death by Aunt Katie Haley, parents Patricia & James P O’Brien.

Survived by her children James (Liz) Zahler and Maria Zahler; their father Mike Zahler; grandson Gavin Zahler; sisters Dorothy Thillman and Mary Remus; and many other family members and friends.

Patty was raised in Superior WI, worked in medical claims and services and was an active member in the Twin Cities Women for Sobriety group. A proud Irish Catholic, she had a famous sense of humor, an unmatched knack for hospitality, and limitless compassion for her loved ones.

Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Monday, November 28, 2016 at the Church of Our Lady Grace, 5071 Eden Ave. in Edina, MN with visitation beginning at 9:30 am.
