Patricia Dow
Pat Dow, age 83 of Edina, passed away Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019. She was born on March 30, 1936 in Minneapolis, MN to Arleigh and Evald Bank. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Kent and daughter Laurie. Pat graduated from Northrop Collegiate School and Tobe-Colburn Fashion School with a degree in merchandising.
If Mom wasn’t talking your ear off, she was either helping you or others. She led a life of service to those around her. Other than volunteering for several charitable organizations, above all, she was the best mom, grandma, spouse, and friend. Undoubtedly, her love, her vivaciousness and positivity has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all that knew her. Mom lived true to her words, “I am so blessed and I want to pass on those blessings to others.”
She is survived by her husband Jim; her two children and their spouses, Steve and Lisa, and Vicki and Jim; and her grandchildren Clara and spouse Mark, Michael and Lindsay.
Her celebration of life service with be held on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, 6716 Gleason Rd., Minneapolis, MN 55439. Reception at the church to follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Mission, 836 E. Magnolia Ave., St. Paul, MN 55106.
